Benefits of this Recipe

The strength of a recipe is hidden in the ingredients used in its preparation. In this article, we will look into the ingredients used to make a maple cake and the benefits linked to each of the ingredients.

wheat pastry flour

Wheat pastry helps in making the recipe texture perfect. The softness that you feel in the meal is a result of the whole pastry flour used in the preparation. The wheat pastry is also rich in fiber and therefore through the pastry, the food becomes more digestible.

rolled oats

Oats can be ranked among the top grains in the world. Their fame comes from the fact that they don’t have gluten and they are rich in fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. This characteristic helps in lowering blood sugar levels, reducing weight, and preventing heart-related problems.

coconut sugar

Coconut sugar contains healthy sugar which is slowly absorbed into the bloodstream thus ensuring a balance in insulin production. This balance is key in preventing blood sugar and therefore it is recommended for people at risk of getting diabetes or those already living with diabetes.

walnut pieces

Some forms of cancers are genetically caused and therefore for people coming from families known to have dangers of contracting cancer, they are advised to have walnuts that tend to change some genetic Characteristics. This study of genetic change was done at Harvard University and therefore it can be trusted.

Cashews

Cashews have low levels of sugar and are rich in fiber. Additionally, they contain healthy fats and protein meaning they can minimize intake of animal products. Other nutrients that are found in the ingredient include manganese and copper and therefore they help in brain development and also in boosting the immune system.

liquid Stevia

One way to ensure the food you consume is safe is ensuring the sweetener added is of low calories. Refined sugar gets absorbed into the blood very fast and therefore having liquid stevia as an alternative is a big plus. Less sugar also helps in preventing teeth cavities and therefore having it in a recipe is a big win.

Vanilla

Many people use vanilla to achieve a calming effect in the body. Vanilla products also contain healthy sugar and therefore it can act as a sugar alternative that has fewer calories and carbohydrates. Eating healthy sugar is a natural remedy to ease toothache.

Maple flavoring

Maple is rich in potassium, magnesium, zinc, and calcium and therefore it supplies the body with major nutrients. Additionally, it is a famous antioxidant meaning it helps in securing the body against illness. It can be compared to honey though it has fewer calories

Orange flavoring

In many cases, nutritious products tend to have an unwanted taste but oranges are the opposite. Vitamin C which is key in enhancing immunity in the human body is dominant in this fruit and therefore adding orange flavor to a meal makes it rich in vitamin C. Additionally orange is an excellent antioxidant and therefore it can help in fighting radicles that cause cancer and heart diseases.

Guy is a dedicated vegan, who prefers natural remedies to treat root causes of physiological problems, instead of turning to medication to merely treat symptoms. When he learned in December 2017 he was suffering from high blood pressure (hypertension), he turned to massage as a potential answer for his problem. Rather than engage massage as a client, Guy chose to become a massage practitioner and enrolled in the Black Hills School of Massage in Hermosa, SD. He is now licensed to provide Swedish, Deep Tissue and Trigger Point massage among other modalities. He, and his wife Irene who is also a massage practitioner, have joined forces with the Fountain of Youth Waterstore in Rapid City where they provide clients with comforting relief from body aches and pains. Be sure to ask Guy what happened with his blood pressure when you see him for your initial treatment session.
